Regular Worship

Kol Emeth is an egalitarian synagogue that follows the Conservative tradition. Men and women sit together, not separately. Both men and women are asked to wear head coverings during services; these are available in the synagogue entry as are prayer books (siddurim) and books that include the weekly Torah readings. We use a combination of Hebrew and English and the prayer books include both, so most people have no trouble following the prayers and readings. Services are scheduled for most days of the week. Sabbath services are held in the main sanctuary upstairs, and weekday services are held in the chapel on the lower level.
