about us
Congregation Kol Emeth is a Conservative congregation affiliated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism. Men and women participate fully in all parts of the service from reading the Torah and the Haftarah to opening the Ark. We welcome people of all ages into the sanctuary, which is ADA accessible.
We have a late evening service on Friday night followed, as is the tradition, by an Oneg Shabbat to which everyone is welcome.
On Saturday we have services beginning at 9:45 A.M. The service is followed by an extended Kiddish and conversations amongst the members of the congregation that can last for more than an hour. The Rabbi usually leads these services, but when he is out of town, members of the Congregation conduct the services.
Our Social Committee has an active program of events open to both men and women. You do not have to belong to participate in the activities of these groups.
The Congregation sponsors lectures, dinners, and other events for the enjoyment and edification of members and guests. All are welcome to attend.
