Our Men's Club
We are a proud group of men, actively involved in functions which enrich our congregation. Our members span a wide range of interests, ages and backgrounds, and our programs are designed to entertain, inform and enrich our members and guests. Our programs and activities are created to enhance your personal growth, Jewish involvement and feeling of community. The Men's Club sponsors lectures by prominent people in various professions including sports, politics, religion and music.
Our season starts in the fall with our kick-off dinner and continues throughout the year with Sunday morning breakfasts which include a guest speaker. Additionally, members act as ushers during the High Holiday services. Certainly, one of the highlights of the year is picking the Man of the Year person.
The Kol Emeth Men's Club is a vital part in all aspects of our congregation. Our annual donation helps in the upkeep and refurbishing of the synagogue. Somewhere among our activities is a place just right for you!

to Speak on
I'm From Division Street
On Sunday morning, August 13th, at 10:30 a.m., in a joint program, Kol Emeth's Men's Club and Sisterhood are hosting Author/Attorney/Boxer Kenneth Green's presentation of his book, "I'M FROM DIVISION STREET." Mr. Green, who was inducted into the California Boxing Hall of Fame, will be sharing his stories about rising from #186 out of #187 graduates from Roosevelt High School facing poverty, academic problems and anti-Semitism to a prominent professional and personal success. Ken's book also vividly describes the Humboldt Park neighborhood when he was growing up and profiles famous Jewish people who had their roots there. He will be bringing and personally signing copies of his book to sell. Light refreshments will be served following the presentation. Please RSVP to Jennifer Blitz at firstname.lastname@example.org or call her at 773-769-3315.
